October Third Thursday at South Barbershop

  • South Barbershop 129 East Daggett Avenue Fort Worth, TX, 76104 United States (map)

OCTOBER 17th 2019

About the event:

Ruby Bellows Tintype was founded by Sheena Dorton who utilizes old school chemistry to travel through time with her camera to capture obscurely haunting portraits. She uses an old photographic process called wetplate collodion to create tintype photographs the same way photographers did back in the 1850's. Find out more about the process and the magic behind it, come see the old camera she uses, and check out her tintype gallery this upcoming Third Thursday! As an extra throwback, a special 1850's period style beer will be available to taste as well as (more modern) appetizers!

***Note: I WILL NOT be shooting tintypes at Third Thursday event however, I WILL be set up here during Arts Goggle shooting tintype portraits.***

This event is a part of the ongoing casual art walk happening every Third Thursday of the month in the Near Southside neighborhood in Fort Worth.
